Dr. Pawaton Kaemawichanurat

 
Title of the talk:    The number of 3xn Latin rectangles and its application in finite set theory.

Dr. Pawaton Kaemawichanurat is an Associate Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in Bangkok, Thailand. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mathematics from Silpakorn University and earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Curtin University, Australia. His research interests lie primarily in graph theory (including domination and Hamiltonian properties of graphs), combinatorics, and topics in computational geometry. He has co-authored multiple research publications in areas such as domination in graphs, semipaired domination, and connected domination critical graphs, and he participates in academic committees and conference organization in mathematics..

Dr. Neelesh Shankar Upadhye
 

Title of the talk:    Constrained Bayesian Optimization: A Penalty Approach

Dr. Neelesh Shankar Upadhye is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2009. His research interests encompass applied probability, data science, statistical learning, and time series analysis. Dr. Upadhye has contributed to over 34 journal articles and 4 conference proceedings between 2007 and 2024, accumulating 333 citations with an h-index of 12. He has supervised multiple doctoral theses and is currently leading a research project on computational mathematics and data science, funded by the Ministry of Education, India, from 2021 to 2026.

Dr Eshitha Mazumdar

 
Title of the talk:    Zero-Sum Theory: Ideas and Applications

Dr Mazumdar received her PhD in 2016 from the Homi Bhabha National Institute, Department of Atomic Energy, under the guidance of Professor S.D. Adhikari. She did her MS from IIT Kharagpur and her BS from the University of Calcutta. Currently her areas of interest lie in combinatorics and number theory. Professor Mazumdar is an Assistant Professor in the Mathematical and Physical Sciences division of the School of Arts and Sciences

Dr Ardeline M Buhphang
 

Title of the talk:     SF-rings and regularity

Dr. Ardeline M. Buhphang is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, India. She has an M.Sc and Ph.D. in Mathematics from NEHU and specializes in associative algebras and ring theory. With over two decades of teaching experience and significant research work, she has guided numerous Ph.D. and M.Phil. students and published widely in peer-reviewed mathematics journals. At NEHU, she has served in key academic roles including teacher-in-charge of the Mathematics Department and coordinator of academic programmes, and contributes as a reviewer for various international journals. Her research interests lie primarily in algebraic structures such as associative algebras, rings, and modules.
