The National Conference on Mathematical Advances is a premier academic event that brings together researchers, academicians, and professionals to discuss recent developments and emerging trends in mathematics.

Organized by the Department of Mathematics, St Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, this two-day conference will feature invited talks, paper presentations, and interactive discussions, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange across diverse mathematical disciplines.

About The Department

  • Established in 1923, the Department of Mathematics is one of the institution's oldest science departments.
  • It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including an MSc in Mathematics initiated in 2014.
  • The department comprises 17 well-qualified faculty members, teaching over 800 undergraduate and 80 postgraduate students.
  • Through its academic club, ABACUS, the department provides a platform for students to engage in mathematics-related activities.
