Samskruta Tarangini is the Sanskrit Association of St. Joseph’s College. The association is led by Prof. Prasanna SB, HOD, Department of Sanskrit, St.Joseph’s College. Sanskrit is one of the ancient and oldest languages if not the oldest. The significance of Sanskrit in Indian mythology, its religious and spiritual heritage, and its history cannot be overstated. The association’s goal is to spread this knowledge in the best way possible.

The association organises regular webinars with speakers from around the world giving us more insights into the language and its applications. The association also has a book sharing programme where members can share books and discuss about them with others. The association organises both intra and inter collegiate fests with events like Riddles, Dance, Quiz, Anthyakshari, Singing, Pictionary and Kantha Paatha (Recitation); all related to Sanskrit. The association has many more exciting programmes planned! So STAY TUNED!
