IMAGES, the association of Visual communication, is more than just a collective; it is an evolving ecosystem of visual thinkers. We exist for those who believe that stories don’t always need words, that meaning can hide inside frames, colours, textures, and shadows.
At IMAGES, we gather artists, designers, filmmakers, photographers, illustrators, editors and individuals with curious minds, hungry to explore the ever-expanding language of visuals. Our members are united by an irrepressible need to redefine how visuals shape the world around us. Our space is one of active conversation, where ideas intersect and morph, adapt and grow, emerge and shift — the very nature of IMAGES. Through museum visits, lectures, workshops, screenings, exhibitions, and webinars, we build opportunities for learning, unlearning, and expanding artistic perspectives.
At IMAGES, nothing visual is off-limits. We dive into photography and film, design and print, sound and screenwriting, branding and advertising, the deep history of art and every story that can be told through images. Above all, IMAGES is a platform for visual storytellers who seek meaning beyond the obvious.
It is a community that trusts the power of images not just to represent reality, but to ultimately understand it more deeply. IMAGES conducts various events every year, our most important being the annual fest – ALLURA, featuring competitions across all areas of visual communication.
Our recent events include gallery visits to The Indian Cartoon Gallery, located in Midford Garden Road and NGMA – The National Garden of Modern Art, Bengaluru. Some others are - an art exhibition titled BIENNALE was curated by the students of Visual Communication, talk with industry professionals, film directors and many more.
