The Association of Art and Animation aims to build a real interest in the visual arts and performance based activities among students at the School of Communication and Media. The association brings together students with an interest in animation, illustration design and related fields and offers a supportive environment for the students
The association hosts workshops led by industry professionals and alumni, offering students practical insight into both traditional and emerging media. They organise a variety of events from art roulette and cosplay events to themed art competitions. These activities help students build technical skills and develop a personal artistic style identity within a supportive and welcoming community.
Each year, the association presents their main event, Artistica, their annual art showcase. The event gives students a platform to display their work and encourages artistic and creative expression in the students across the college.
