About the Programme

This programme prepares a student to graduate with a strong and basic foundation in Physics, Mathematics and Computer science.

This programme prepares a student to graduate with a strong and basic foundation in Applied Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. For the first year, general Physics topics are taught but in the subsequent years, the students are taught computational physics and simulations. The students will study Mathematics courses as open electives. In the final year, one course and the term paper will be based on computational physics.
The application of Computer Science in Physics has been widespread in recent years. Computational physicists have been much in demand to create models, analyze data using advanced algorithms or predict stock markets or climate change using probability theories.  Your knowledge of Computer Science can help you solve complex problems in the realm of Physics. It is especially useful for students interested in inter-disciplinary areas, such as quantum computing, computational physics and astrophysics. The necessary software will be taught to all the students.
