Psychological concepts have historically influenced the development of economic theories. The field of psychology offers essential insights that significantly enhance journalistic practices, ranging from the formulation of compelling narratives to considerations of ethical reporting. The incorporation of psychological principles into journalism facilitates the creation of content that is not only informative but also attuned to the needs and perspectives of the audience.
The programme leverages the intrinsic connection between Psychology and media, highlighting that Psychology serves as a prolific source of material for various media platforms. Many of the most prominent and newsworthy items pertain to psychological concepts. Additionally, the discipline significantly influences a wide array of media content across newspapers, magazines, and digital publications
Admission Process : The applicants must fill in complete information on the online application form and upload all required certificates (whatever is available) and photos.
Selection Process : The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. There are two rounds in the interview. Once the final interview is over, candidates have to pay their programme fee within 3 days in full and the mode of payment must be online. The dates of the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates and will be announced on the website
All applicants are advised to take note that undergraduate programs in the Schools of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences, which offer three optional subjects, will implement the 3+3+1 model at our University. This structure requires that students admitted to these programs study all three majors during the first four semesters. In the final two semesters, students will be required to select one of these optional subjects as their primary major. The allocation of the third major will be determined as per the university policy.
