Admission & Selection Process
Admission Process : The applicants must fill in complete information on the online application form and upload all required certificates (whatever is available) and photos.
Selection Process : The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. There are two rounds in the interview. Once the final interview is over, candidates have to pay their programme fee within 3 days and the mode of payment must be online. The dates of the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates and will be announced on the website.

- Students opting For Kannada/Hindi/Tamil will not be charged any additional fee
Note:
- Please note: if admitted, the fee must be paid in full within the time prescribed in the Admit Intimation.
- To claim the Karnataka category fee, the candidates should have studied the last 7 years in Karnataka.[Not applicable for OCI (Overseas Citizens of India), PIO (Person of Indian Origin), and Foreign Nationals].
NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the Programme for candidates who:
- Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.
- NRI and candidates who have applied under the NRI category.
The Management / University does not collect any type of Capitation fees / Donation other than the fees mentioned above.

Programme Scope
This programme integrates plant biology, biochemistry, and biotechnology to explore plant systems and bio-based innovations.
Students are trained to:
- Pursue advanced programmes in plant sciences, agriculture, biochemistry, and biotechnology.
- Perform plant tissue culture, molecular marker studies, enzymology, and genetic engineering.
- Analyse plant metabolism and apply biotechnology to agriculture.
- Work in seed companies, plant biotech labs, agri-tech firms, environmental consulting, and pharma.
- Take JAM, GATE, CSIR-NET, DBT-BET, ICAR exams.
- Address agricultural and environmental challenges with biotechnological tools.
