About Me
I am an Assistant Professor at St. Joseph's with a background in nanotechnology, biotechnology, biochemical engineering, and materials science. I completed my postdoctoral research at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA, where I specialized in the nanoscale analysis of dry powder aerosols using advanced techniques such as Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Infrared Spectroscopy (AFM-IR), and Optical Photothermal Infrared Spectroscopy (O-PTIR).
My research interests include nanomaterials, polymer nanocomposites, biomaterials, aerosols, materials characterization, and advanced spectroscopic techniques. During my PhD in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering, I studied the role of nanofillers in biodegradable polymers, investigated their structure-property relationships, and explored their biomedical applications. I also gained extensive experience in the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles.
As an academic, I am passionate about research, teaching, mentoring students, and collaborating with researchers from different disciplines. I enjoy academic writing, reviewing scientific manuscripts, and contributing to research that advances science and technology.
