Dr. Arun Prakash P is a faculty member with rich experience in the department of Commerce. He has qualified M.Com., MBA (Finance)., M.Phil., Ph.D (Commerce) with UGC NET in Commerce and Management. He has served as teaching faculty in renowned institutions such as Sacred Heart College,Tirupattur, PSG College of Arts & Science , Coimbatore and Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, Coimbatore. He has more than15 years of teaching experience in the Commerce and Business Administration departments of various colleges including two years teaching experience of finance courses for MBA Programme at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathy. He is a recipient of Gold Medal for securing 1st Rank in M.Com at Jamal Mohamed College, Trichy. He has published 38 research papers in refereed journals and presented 18 research papers at international conferences and seminars, as well as 3 research papers at national conferences/seminars. He has supervised and produced 2 Ph.D. (Commerce) scholars under his guidance during the academic year 2025 2026. He is keen on imparting knowledge and developing skills to the students’ fraternity in the areas of Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, and Corporate Legal Framework through activity-based teaching pedagogies such as case study analysis, role plays and experiential learning exercises. At the same time, he is actively involved in research in areas such as banking, credit risk management, corporate finance, stock market integration and macro-economic performance.
